iPad screenshot sizes for App Store Connect
Five display classes, one of them required, and a chain of automatic scaling that lets you skip the other four.

If your app runs on iPad, the 13″ set is required: 2064 × 2752 or 2048 × 2732. The 12.9″ and 11″ classes are filled by scaling from it when you leave them empty.
The one that is required
Apple attaches a single condition to the 13″ iPad class: required if app runs on iPad. There is no equivalent escape clause to the one iPhone has — on iPad, that set is the price of entry.

The scaling chain is worth reading twice
It is not one hop. The 10.5″ class is filled from 12.9″, and 9.7″ from 10.5″ — so a single 13″ upload does not reach the bottom of the ladder directly. In practice this rarely matters, because the devices at the bottom are old enough that their share of your installs is small; but if those devices are your audience, the chain is the reason your listing looks softer there than you expected.
iPad is not a wider iPhone
The aspect ratios are close to 4:3 rather than the roughly 19.5:9 of a phone. A screen composed for a phone and stretched to fill an iPad frame reads as stretched — the type is the giveaway, because it grows in one direction only. If iPad matters to you, compose for it separately.
