To get a larp wallet, open the demo in your browser, pick a plan if it fits, open the app in Safari or Chrome, add it to your home screen, type your balances and record. Nothing is installed and there is no store listing. A larp wallet never needs a seed phrase, and its screen is never proof of funds.
The short version
We make My Larp Wallet, so this is the route we know. Getting a larp wallet is not like getting an app from a store. There is nothing to find in an app store, and nothing to install. It is a web app: you open it in your browser, add it to your home screen, and from then on it opens full screen like any other app.
A larp wallet, also called a crypto wallet app simulator, is an app that shows a believable crypto wallet screen built from the balances you type in, for videos, skits, pitch decks and demos. It holds no funds and touches no blockchain.
Because it holds nothing, it needs nothing from you that touches your money: no seed phrase, no private key, no wallet address. If a page asks for one, it is not a larp wallet.
The six steps
- Try the demo. Open the demo in your browser. No account, no card. Look at the screen, change a balance, and decide whether it fits the clip you have in mind.
- Pick a plan. My Larp Wallet is a paid product, billed monthly or once for life. The plans and what each includes are on the page where you sign up, so you see them there and not in a blog post that could go out of date. We keep a 14-day refund in writing for a wallet that does not do what the site says.
- Open it in Safari or Chrome. On iPhone, use Safari. On Android, use Chrome. Sign in with the email you used to pay.
- Add it to your home screen. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, as Apple's guide describes. On Android, open the Chrome menu and choose the option to create a shortcut or install, as Google's help page describes. Menu labels change between versions, so look for the wording closest to Add to Home Screen.
- Type your balances. Choose your tokens and amounts. The app adds live prices, a total and a 24h change.
- Record. Open it from the home screen icon so it fills the screen, then use your phone's screen recording. Our guide to recording a wallet screen covers the details.
Device-specific notes are in larp wallet on iPhone, larp wallet on Android and larp wallet on PC. The wider picture is in the larp wallet guide.
What you need, and what you do not
| You need | You do not need |
|---|---|
| A phone with Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android) | An app store account or a store listing |
| An email address to sign in | A seed phrase, a private key or a wallet address |
| A plan, monthly or lifetime, once the demo convinces you | An installer, a file from a link or a profile on your device |
| The balances you want on screen | A connection to any exchange or blockchain |
What to avoid when you search
Searches for larp wallets pull in several kinds of pages that are not worth your phone's safety.
- APK sites. An APK is an Android installer. One from an unofficial site is not from the developer, and you cannot tell what it contains. Treat it as you would any file from a stranger.
- Anything that asks for a seed phrase or a key. A simulator has no use for either. Pages that ask are trying to empty a real wallet.
- Pages promising a screen you can show as real. A simulated screen proves nothing. Any tool that markets itself as a way to fool someone is selling you a problem.
- Payment demands in crypto from a stranger. The FTC says no legitimate business will demand payment in crypto. Pay by card, which gives you a dispute route.
After you have it
Keep the first clip short and obviously staged. Say it is a skit in the caption or on screen. If you want ideas, our money skit ideas are a starting point, and the creators page shows other uses such as thumbnails and decks.
The screen has one wallet look of our own, dark with a lavender accent. It does not copy any brand's interface or logo, and live prices cover the built-in tokens only. Some tabs hold sample content. These limits are listed honestly on the larp wallet review page.
A prop, never proof
A larp wallet screen is a prop for a video, a skit, a pitch deck or a demo. It is never proof of a balance or a payment, and showing it to someone to get money or trust is a false statement. Using our app that way breaks our terms.
Start with the demo. It takes a minute and it costs nothing to look.

Questions
How do I get a larp wallet on my phone?
Open the web app in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, use the browser menu to add it to your home screen, then open it from the new icon. It runs full screen like an app. There is no installer and no store step, so the whole thing takes a couple of minutes.
Do I need to install an APK or an IPA?
No. A larp wallet that runs in the browser needs neither. If a site asks you to install an APK or an unknown file to get one, close it. An unofficial file can read more of your phone than a web page can, and your phone may hold real wallet apps.
Is there a free larp wallet?
Not from us. My Larp Wallet is paid, monthly or once for life. What costs nothing is the demo: it opens in the browser with no account, so you can see the screen and test it before you pay. Be careful with any offer of a no-cost version that asks for a file or a key.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. The demo page opens in your browser with no account and no card. It is a trimmed version, so some things are fixed, but it shows the look, the way balances are typed and how the screen behaves on a phone.
Does a larp wallet ask for my seed phrase?
Never. It holds no funds and touches no blockchain, so it has no use for a seed phrase, a private key or an address. Any page that asks for one is the scam version of a larp wallet. Close it, and never type those words into a site.
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes. It opens in a desktop browser too, and you can screen record from there. The phone route gives the most convincing result, because the home screen icon opens it full screen with no browser bars.
Compose the screen instead of describing it
Your tokens, your amounts, your accent, laid out in the browser, then opened on your phone at your own address. A mockup, and we never pretend otherwise.
- Unlimited tokens, amounts and accents
- Add it to your home screen; it opens like an app
- Live market prices that keep moving
- Your own address, mylarpwallet.com/you
