My Larp Wallet review: what it does and what it cannot do, from the people who make it

Not an independent review: an overview written by the makers, with every point taken from our own pages so you can check it. What the wallet does, ten things it cannot do, whether it is safe, who it suits and who it does not, and how it differs in kind from other larp wallets.

Published:

My Larp Wallet is a paid web app that composes a crypto wallet screen from the tokens and amounts you type and opens it full screen on your phone, with live prices for five built-in tokens. It holds no funds, asks for no seed phrase and installs nothing; it also has one design, sample content behind its tabs, no export file and no trial.

Crypto wallet portfolio screen composed in My Larp Wallet: a wallet named Alder, a total balance above a list of 4 tokens showing each holding and its change over the day, in a dark theme with a lavender accent.
A mockup, not a wallet, composed in My Larp Wallet. It holds no funds and connects to no blockchain.

Who wrote this review, and how to check it

We make My Larp Wallet, so this is not an independent review and it does not pretend to be one. There is no star rating on this page, no quote from a customer and no claim that it beats anything. What there is: what the product does and what it cannot do, each point taken from a page of mylarpwallet.com that you can open and check in a few minutes. Those pages are listed at the end of this page, with the date we read them.

If you are looking for reviews because you are about to pay for a larp wallet, that instinct is right. The same search returns harmless props and traps built to take a recovery phrase, and the safety questions come before the features (how to tell a simulator from a scam that takes your keys). The sections below run those questions on ours.

What My Larp Wallet is, and what it does

A larp wallet, also called a crypto wallet app simulator, is an app that shows a believable crypto wallet screen built from the balances you type in, for videos, skits, pitch decks and demos. It holds no funds and touches no blockchain.

My Larp Wallet is one, made by a small independent operation and online since August 2026. In practice it does six things:

An optional library of vertical lifestyle clips is sold once, separately, and stays attached to the account.

What it cannot do: ten limits

These are the limits we publish ourselves. Most of them are on the page that describes the jobs the wallet does, and on the page about getting it onto a phone.

LimitWhat it means in practice
One designYou change the content, the name, the color and the labels, never the layout. Onboarding, send or swap flows, or a layout of your own belong in a design tool.
Sample content behind the tabsThe screens behind the tabs show fixed sample content. The home screen and token pages are what you film.
Live prices for five tokens onlyAny other token keeps the price you typed and does not move.
No export fileSince 15 September 2026 there is no image or video to download. You take the screenshot or the screen recording on your own phone.
Live prices need a connectionOffline, the five prices freeze at their last value and the total and 24-hour change stop with them. For a live demo, screenshot each beat beforehand.
Paid, with no trialOne plan, paid monthly or once for life. The homepage shows the wallet moving in a phone frame, but you cannot compose your own screen before paying.
A default look close to a real appThe layout follows a real wallet app's home screen, and the default avatar and search text point to that app. Replace both before you record or present.
A personal licenseSection 4 of the terms grants a personal right of use. Business use is not covered in writing yet: a production company or an agency has to write first.
No transfers, no notificationsNothing moves between users and nothing pushes an alert. It is a screen, not a wallet, and it cannot prove anything.
A phone, not a computerIt runs in a computer's browser too, but not full screen, and the picture will not be a phone.

Is it safe? Is it legit?

"Legit" and "safe" are two questions. The first is about who takes your money, the second about what the product can reach. Here is what our own pages commit to on each.

Who takes the payment

What the product can reach

"Larp wallet scams" usually mean the opposite of all three: a key sold in a chat, a file to sideload, or a page that asks you to connect your real wallet. A legitimate larp wallet has no use for any of them.

Who it is for, and who it is not for

It does not fit

How it differs from the other kinds of larp wallet

The other products sold as larp wallets fall into four broad kinds, as read on their own sites (each is named, with dates, on our comparison pages):

Against those, ours is narrower: one crypto wallet, in the browser, with no key, live prices on five tokens, card checkout and a refund rule in writing. Whether narrower is better depends on the job. The full field is laid out in larp wallet apps compared, and these are a vendor's comparisons, so check the facts on each product's own pages.

Where the line is

A larp wallet is a prop. Section 3 of our terms of use forbids using its screens to make anyone believe you hold assets you do not hold, to obtain a payment, an investment, a loan or any other advantage on the basis of a fictional financial position, or to stand as evidence, a statement or a certificate. A breach ends the license without a refund and may be reported to the authorities.

In practice: keep a visible "Mockup" label in the frame, never caption a balance as yours, and never show the screen to someone deciding whether to give you money or trust. What the law says about that last case, country by country, is in is a larp wallet legal?

Questions

Is My Larp Wallet legit?

It is a paid web app run by a small independent operation, online since August 2026. Card payments go through Stripe. Section 6 of its terms refunds a payment within 14 days when the product does not do what the site says. It never asks for a private key or a seed phrase, there is nothing to install, and its official accounts are on YouTube, X and TikTok.

Is a larp wallet safe?

It depends on what it asks of you. A larp wallet only needs the numbers you type, so one that asks for a recovery phrase, a private key, a wallet connection or the installation of a file is asking for more than a mockup needs. My Larp Wallet runs in the browser and reads no address; any APK, IPA, .exe or script offered under its name, on GitHub, Telegram or anywhere else, is not from its makers.

Can I try My Larp Wallet before paying?

Not with your own numbers. There is no trial: creating an account costs nothing, but the wallet opens on a paid plan. Before paying, the homepage of mylarpwallet.com shows the wallet on a phone screen with its prices moving, though nothing there can be changed.

What happens if My Larp Wallet does not work?

Write from the address on your account within 14 days of the payment. Section 6 of the terms covers three cases: the wallet does not open on your device, something described on the sales page is missing or does not work, or you were charged twice. Proof of the problem is asked for before refunding, a refund ends the access it paid for, and a change of mind is not covered.

Can My Larp Wallet send or receive crypto?

No. It is a mockup, not a wallet: it connects to no blockchain, holds no funds and cannot send, receive or prove anything. Every quantity on the screen is typed in by the user; only the market prices of the five built-in tokens are real.

Everything included

Compose the screen instead of describing it

Your tokens, your amounts, your accent, laid out in the browser, then opened on your phone at your own address. A mockup, and we never pretend otherwise.

  • Unlimited tokens, amounts and accents
  • Add it to your home screen; it opens like an app
  • Live market prices that keep moving
  • Your own address, mylarpwallet.com/you
