Coinbase larp wallet and trading simulator: creators, learners and scams
Searches for a Coinbase larp wallet or a Coinbase trading simulator come from two groups: creators who want a staged screen and learners who want to practice trading. Which tool fits each, what we found (and did not find) about an official Coinbase simulator, and why a fake Coinbase text or email is a different thing, with Coinbase's own scam help pages. We make My Larp Wallet and are not affiliated with Coinbase.

A Coinbase larp wallet is a staged wallet screen used as a prop in a video or skit. A Coinbase trading simulator is something else: practice trading for learners. We found no official Coinbase simulator. We make My Larp Wallet, and we are not affiliated with Coinbase. A staged screen is never proof of funds.
Two groups, two tools
We make My Larp Wallet and we are not affiliated with Coinbase. Searches for a "Coinbase larp wallet" and a "Coinbase trading simulator" look alike, but they come from different people with different needs, and one tool does not cover both.
A larp wallet, also called a crypto wallet app simulator, is an app that shows a believable crypto wallet screen built from the balances you type in, for videos, skits, pitch decks and demos. It holds no funds and touches no blockchain.
| Creators | Learners | |
|---|---|---|
| Want | A staged screen for a skit, a thumbnail or a demo | To practice buying and selling without risk |
| Needs | Numbers they choose, a believable layout | Simulated orders against real prices |
| Right tool | A larp wallet app, labeled as a prop | Paper trading |
| Wrong tool | A trading simulator | A larp wallet |
If you are a creator
A creator wants a believable wallet screen with numbers they pick. My Larp Wallet does that: you type tokens and amounts, it adds live prices for the built-in tokens, a total and a 24h change, and it opens full screen on your phone once you add it to the home screen. It has one dark wallet look of our own with a lavender accent. It does not copy Coinbase's interface, name or logo. Trademarks belong to their owners.
See it on the demo page, in your browser, with no account. It is a paid product, monthly or once for life. For scenes and formats, the creators page is the place to start, and money skit ideas has concepts.
If you are a learner
A learner needs a different thing, and a larp wallet is the wrong answer. It has no order book, no fills and no price risk, so you cannot learn to trade with it. You want paper trading, where simulated orders run against real prices. We read through Coinbase's help pages and searched for an official Coinbase simulator or paper-trading mode on 31 October 2026 and did not find one. That is not proof that none exists. It means we found no page that says so, and you should check Coinbase's own site.
What we did find were third-party tools that simulate Coinbase prices or interfaces. They are not Coinbase, and each one has its own terms. Our pages on memecoin paper trading and demo accounts vs wallet simulators explain how to choose, and why a learner and a creator should not buy the same thing.
A different thing: the fake Coinbase text or email
If you came here because a message claims to be from Coinbase, this section is for you. A fake text or email that says your account is locked, a withdrawal is pending or you must verify is a scam, not a larp. Coinbase's own help pages say a few things plainly.
- Coinbase will not ask for credentials. Its agents never ask for your password or 2-step verification code, never ask you to install software or give remote access, and never ask you to move funds to a new address or give a seed phrase.
- Check the sender. Official email comes from addresses ending in coinbase.com. A convincing display name proves nothing.
- Type the address yourself. Lookalike sites with swapped letters or digits are common. Bookmark the real one.
- Hang up on unexpected calls. Numbers can be spoofed. Coinbase says it runs no giveaways and has no official Telegram presence.
- Report it. Forward suspicious texts to 7726 on a US carrier, and email phishing to the security address on Coinbase's help page.
The FTC adds a general rule worth keeping: no legitimate business or agency will demand payment in crypto.
What our screen does and does not do
To keep expectations straight: it shows the tokens and amounts you type, prices that update for the built-in tokens, a total and a 24h change. It has one look, some tabs hold sample content, and it cannot place an order, show a trade history from a real account or connect to an exchange. If a scene needs a buy button that does something, no larp wallet will give you that, and a learner should use paper trading. The honest comparison of options is on larp wallet apps compared, and a plain review with our limits is on the larp wallet review.
Why a staged screen is not a Coinbase screen
When a staged screen is mistaken for a real account, trouble follows. Some sellers use fake balance screenshots to win trust. Our page on spotting a fake wallet screenshot lists the signs. If you film your own account, hide or shrink the balance and keep account details out of frame, as in hide a wallet balance.
A prop, never proof
A staged wallet screen made with a larp wallet app is a prop for a video, a skit, a deck or a demo. It is never proof of a balance or a payment, and showing it to someone to obtain money or trust is a false statement. Using our app that way breaks our terms.

Questions
Is there a Coinbase larp wallet?
There are staged wallet screens people call that, made by third parties. We make My Larp Wallet, with a dark wallet look of our own and no Coinbase branding, and we are not affiliated with Coinbase. It draws a screen from balances you type in, for videos and skits. It holds no funds.
Does Coinbase have a trading simulator?
We did not find an official Coinbase paper-trading or simulator mode in our searches on 31 October 2026. Some third-party tools simulate Coinbase prices, and they are not Coinbase. Check Coinbase's own site for what exists today before you rely on any of them.
Is a larp wallet a good way to learn to trade?
No. A larp wallet draws a balance from numbers you type, and it has no order book, fills or risk. It teaches nothing about trading. Learners want paper trading, where simulated orders run against real prices. Our page on memecoin paper trading explains the difference.
Is that Coinbase text or email about my account real?
Often not. Coinbase says its agents never ask for your password or 2-step code, never ask you to install software or move funds, and never ask for a seed phrase. Its official emails end in coinbase.com only. Do not tap the link. Type the address yourself or open the app.
Is a fake Coinbase balance proof of money?
No. A staged balance is never proof of funds. Shown to a person to get money, a deal or trust, it is a false statement, in any wallet. Our terms forbid using our app that way.
Can I film a real Coinbase screen instead?
You can film your own account, with the balance hidden or small, as long as you do not expose account details. Our page on hiding a wallet balance explains how. For a staged scene with numbers you choose, a larp wallet app is the cleaner tool.
