The 6.3 inch size that most listings ask for

The iPhone 17 screen is 1206 × 2622 pixels. Apple's App Store Connect asks for at least one set of screenshots on the medium Dynamic Island display, and 1206 × 2622 is one of the sizes that slot accepts. A mockup built from that exact size means the picture in your store listing, your deck and your landing page all come from the same source file, with no resampling between them.

Because the display is 402 × 874 pt, a design made at the usual 393 pt width has to be widened by 9 points, and the safe area stays at 62 pt on top and 34 pt at the bottom. If your layout was designed on an older 393 pt phone, check the edges after you drop it in: the Fill option crops to the glass, Fit shows the whole picture on black, and Stretch distorts, so use it only on purpose.

What the drawn frame measures

Our iPhone 17 frame uses a black border of 3.4 pt and a metal edge of 1.8 pt, which gives an outer body of 412.4 × 884.4 pt and an export of 834 × 1769 px at 2x or 1252 × 2653 px at 3x. The corner radius of the glass is 62 pt, and the Dynamic Island is drawn as a 126 × 37 pt pill, the collapsed size measured on a 393 pt phone.

Five finishes are on offer, black, lavender, sage, rose and deep blue. They are our own colors and names. Pick one that contrasts with the background: a lavender body on a lavender gradient melts into it, while a black body on a pale gradient gets a crisp outline.

Where an iPhone 17 mockup earns its place

Founders use it for a launch post, designers for a case study cover, teachers for a handout that shows a step on screen. Creators put it behind a title in a short video. In every case the mockup is a picture of a screen and nothing more, so label it as such when the context could confuse a viewer.

Questions

What are the iPhone 17 screen dimensions?

402 × 874 points, 1206 × 2622 pixels at 3x, with a corner radius of 62 pt in Xcode's device profile.

Which other phones share this screen size?

iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro use the same 1206 × 2622 pixels, so one source image works for all of them.

How do I get the phone on a transparent background?

Choose Transparent under Background. The export is a PNG with an alpha channel and the shadow stays soft around the body.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The controls stack under the preview on a narrow screen, and you can pick an image from your photo library.
