iPad mockup maker

A tablet frame needs thicker borders and a different rhythm from a phone. Drop your design into a frame drawn for the 1032 × 1376 pt display of the 13-inch iPad Pro and export at 2x.

A tablet is a different shape

The 13-inch iPad Pro screen is 1032 × 1376 pt, 2064 × 2752 pixels at 2x, with a corner radius of 30 pt in Xcode's profile. The ratio is close to 3:4, much squarer than a phone, so a vertical phone screenshot will leave empty bands if you use Fit and lose most of its height if you use Fill. Use an image made for a tablet, or choose Fit to show the whole phone design centered on black.

Apple asks for iPad screenshots in its 13-inch display group when an app runs on iPad, and 2064 × 2752 is one of the sizes accepted. The same pixel size is used by iPad Pro 13-inch (M4), so a set captured on one works for all of them.

Borders, not bezels at phone scale

The drawn frame has a black border of 11 pt and a metal edge of 2 pt. On a screen this large that is a visible band all around, with a tiny camera dot in the top border and no island. The body measures 1058 × 1402 pt; the side buttons add a little, and the whole export is 1062.8 × 1402 pt, or 2126 × 2804 px at the native 2x.

Only two finishes are offered, silver and graphite, the two that read as a tablet on any background. A large frame needs more padding than a phone to avoid feeling cramped, so try 12 to 16 percent, and leave the shadow on.

Landscape and the rotation slider

To show the tablet sideways, set the rotation to 90 or minus 90 degrees. The device turns as a whole, including the screen, so a portrait design will lie on its side. For a landscape layout, rotate your source image by a quarter turn in a photo app before you drop it in, then use the slider for small tilts only.
