Two platforms, three numbers between them, and one shared resolution that trips people into uploading the same file twice.

Apple TV accepts 1920 × 1080 and 3840 × 2160. Apple Vision Pro accepts 3840 × 2160 only. Both are required for apps on those platforms.

The shared number is a coincidence, not a shortcut
3840 × 2160 appears on both lists, which makes it tempting
to upload one file to both. The pixel count is the only thing the two
platforms have in common.
A television screenshot is read across a room, by someone holding a remote: large type, few elements, high contrast. A Vision Pro screenshot depicts an interface that floats in space and is read at arm's length. The same image cannot be right for both, even though both will accept it.
16:9, and what that does to a phone design
Both sizes are 16:9 landscape. If your app exists on iPhone first, nothing from that listing transfers — a 19.5:9 portrait screen placed on a 16:9 canvas leaves two thirds of the frame empty, and filling that emptiness with a bigger phone frame does not make it a TV screenshot.
