Meme coin calculator: price at a market cap and profit
A free meme coin calculator with two jobs. Find the price a coin would have at a target market cap, or work out the profit from an entry market cap to an exit market cap. Live supply and market cap for six established coins, or type your own numbers. No account, nothing to connect.
Example numbers are filled in. Replace them with yours.
Market cap needed for each multiple
| Multiple | Market cap needed | Bag would be |
|---|
What if, not advice. Multiples count from your entry market cap and assume the supply does not change.
Every output is a what if, not advice, and never a forecast. The math ignores trading fees, slippage, taxes and how many buyers exist at the price: a market cap is a multiplication, not an amount you can sell for. No token is recommended here and none is more likely than another to go up.
Coin data comes from CoinGecko's public API: supply, price and market cap for six established coins, loaded once when you open the page. Not affiliated with CoinGecko, Pepe, Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Bonk, dogwifhat, Floki or Solana. Numbers you type stay in this browser. Besides the anonymous counts every page of this site sends (privacy), the one request this page makes goes to CoinGecko and carries nothing you type; like any site you load data from, CoinGecko sees your IP address.
Show the scenario on a wallet screen
Planning a video, a skit or a deck about a trade that has not happened? Open the demo, type the balance from your scenario and see it as a wallet screen on your phone. Nothing to install.
My Larp Wallet is a wallet simulator: a mockup that holds no funds and connects to no blockchain. A wallet screen is a prop, never proof of holdings or profit.
Price at market cap calculator: the formula
A crypto price at a market cap is the target market cap divided by the supply. It works for any token price market cap calculator, whether the coin trades at a few cents or at a fraction of a thousandth of a cent.
price = target market cap ÷ supply
x from today = price at target ÷ price today
Take a made-up coin with 1 trillion tokens. At a market cap of 1 billion dollars, each token is worth 0.001 dollars. At 5 billion dollars it is worth 0.005, which is 5x. The multiple of the price and the multiple of the market cap are the same number as long as the supply does not change.
Meme coin calculator profit: from entry market cap to exit market cap
A meme coin profit calculator that works with market caps skips the price entirely. If you got in when the market cap was 1 million dollars and the coin reaches 10 million dollars, the multiple is 10x, so a 1,000 dollar bag becomes 10,000 dollars on paper. Use the Entry to exit tab above: it also lists the market cap each of 2x, 5x, 10x and 50x would need from your entry.
Treat the result as a scenario. On paper is the key phrase: fees, slippage, taxes and thin liquidity all come out of the number, and a market cap measures what the last trade implies for every token, not what a large sale would fetch.
Crypto market cap to price calculator: why the supply decides
Two coins with the same market cap can have prices thousands of times apart, because one has a few million tokens and the other hundreds of trillions. That is why a coin with a tiny unit price can still be worth billions, and why comparing prices tells you nothing about size.
- Circulating supply gives the market cap: the tokens that can trade today.
- Total supply gives the fully diluted value: every token that exists, including those not yet circulating.
- When the two supplies differ, a target market cap on circulating supply and one on total supply give different prices. Pick the one you mean.
Questions about the meme coin calculator and market cap
How do you calculate the price at a market cap?
Divide the target market cap by the supply. A market cap of 1 billion dollars on 1 trillion tokens gives 0.001 dollars per token. Use circulating supply for a market cap and total supply for a fully diluted value. The calculator above does the division and shows the multiple from today's price.
What is fully diluted value?
Fully diluted value is the price times the total supply, including tokens that do not circulate yet. When circulating supply is lower than total supply, the fully diluted value is higher than the market cap. When every token already circulates, the two numbers are equal.
Why is market cap not the same as price?
Market cap is price times supply, so it is what makes two coins comparable. A coin priced at a fraction of a cent can be worth more than a coin priced in the hundreds if it has far more tokens. A market cap also assumes buyers exist for every token at that price, which a real order book rarely allows.
How do I read an entry and exit multiple?
Divide the exit market cap by the entry market cap. Entry at 1 million dollars and exit at 10 million dollars is 10x, so 1,000 dollars becomes 10,000 dollars on paper, before fees, slippage and tax. The multiple of the market cap equals the multiple of the price only if the supply stays the same.
