Affiliate programme terms
Last updated: 29 August 2026
These terms govern the My Larp Wallet affiliate programme. They apply in addition to the terms of use and sale, which continue to apply to you as a user of the service. Joining the programme from the affiliate dashboard means accepting what follows.
1. Who can join
Anyone with a My Larp Wallet account can join, free of charge and with no subscription required. You join from the affiliate dashboard; a referral code is issued to you on the spot. One account, one affiliate code. Creating several accounts to hold several codes, or to refer yourself, ends the arrangement.
You take part as an independent party. Nothing here creates an employment relationship, an agency, a partnership or a joint venture, and you may not sign anything, promise anything or speak on behalf of My Larp Wallet.
2. Your link and how a sale is attributed to you
Your link is mylarpwallet.com/r/YOUR-CODE. Adding ?ref=YOUR-CODE to any page of the site works just as well.
When someone opens one of those links, the code is stored in that browser for 60 days. If they subscribe within that window, the sale is attributed to you. The window restarts each time the link is opened again.
Attribution is last click: if the visitor opens another affiliate's link after yours and before subscribing, that newer code replaces yours, and the sale goes to the other affiliate. This is the only rule we can apply honestly, because the browser holds one code at a time.
Two consequences follow from the code living in the visitor's browser, and we prefer to state them rather than let you discover them on a payout:
- attribution is tied to that browser on that device. Someone who opens your link on a phone and subscribes later on a laptop is not attributed to you;
- clearing site data, a private window, or a browser that blocks local storage loses the code.
The code is checked again on our side when the payment is created: it has to exist, be active, and not belong to the buyer. A sale that fails those checks carries no commission.
3. What you earn
You earn 40% of every payment we actually collect from a customer you referred, for as long as that customer stays subscribed. At $19 per month that is $7.60 per active referral, every month, with no cap and no limit on the number of months.
The 40% is calculated on the amount actually collected, which is not always the list price: a discount, a proration or a partial refund changes it, and your commission follows it. When a customer cancels, the payments stop and so do the commissions.
Your rate is recorded on your affiliate account. If we ever agree a different rate with you, it applies to payments collected after that agreement, never retroactively.
4. When a commission is approved
A commission is created as pending the moment the customer's payment is collected, and becomes approved 30 days later. That delay is not an administrative habit: it is the window during which a payment can still be refunded, reversed, or disputed with the card issuer. A commission whose underlying payment is refunded or charged back is cancelled, whether it was pending or already approved.
Only approved commissions are paid out.
5. Payouts
Payouts are made monthly, once your approved balance reaches $50. Below that threshold the balance carries over to the following month; nothing is lost and nothing expires while your affiliate account is active. Payments are sent within the month following approval, in US dollars.
You are paid on the payment method you enter in your affiliate dashboard. Enter it before your first payout, and keep it current: we cannot recover money sent to details you gave us incorrectly. If a payout fails and we cannot reach you at the email address on your account for 12 months, the balance is forfeited.
Any fee charged by your own payment provider to receive the money is yours.
6. What you may not do
The programme exists to bring us people who want a mockup tool. Anything that brings us people who wanted something else costs us a refund and costs you your account. You may not:
- refer yourself, or subscribe through your own link with another email address, another card or another account;
- bid on My Larp Wallet, on close variants of it, or on our domain name in any advertising auction, and you may not run ads that lead to a copy of our pages;
- send unsolicited email, direct messages or comment spam, anywhere, in any volume;
- post fabricated reviews, invented results, or testimonials from a customer who does not exist;
- offer cashback, a rebate or an incentive for subscribing through your link without saying so plainly, in public, in the same place as the offer;
- register a domain, a social account, an app listing or a page that could be taken for an official My Larp Wallet property, or use our name, logo or screenshots to suggest that you are us;
- and, above all, present My Larp Wallet as anything other than what it is.
My Larp Wallet produces mockups. The balances on screen come from what the user types and correspond to nothing held anywhere. An affiliate who promotes it as a real wallet, as proof of funds, or as a way to make someone believe you hold assets you do not hold loses their affiliate account and every commission on it, pending and approved alike — and the referred subscriptions are cancelled. This is not a warning we soften on a case by case basis. It is the one rule the whole product rests on.
7. If you breach these terms
We may suspend an affiliate account, cancel the commissions attached to it, withhold a payout, and revoke the underlying licence. Where a breach is limited and unintentional we will tell you what to correct and give you a chance to do it; where it is the misrepresentation described above, we do not.
We may also cancel commissions that come from traffic we cannot explain — sales attributed at a rate or in a pattern that no honest promotion produces — after asking you to account for them.
8. Tax
Commissions are paid gross. You are responsible for declaring what you receive and for paying any tax, contribution or VAT due where you live or are established. We withhold nothing and file nothing on your behalf. If you are registered for VAT, tell us before your first payout so the paperwork is right.
9. Changes and end of the programme
We may change these terms and the commission rate. A change is announced at least 30 days in advance and applies only to payments collected after it takes effect; commissions already earned keep the terms under which they were earned.
Either side may end the arrangement at any time, without cause. If you leave, or if we close the programme, commissions approved before that date are paid on the normal schedule; pending ones complete their 30-day window and are then paid too, provided the account was not closed for a breach.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction.
